klute produces some serious quality dnb. however, i have been somewhat unimpressed with much of his recent stuff. the names of his recent releases also suggest he is somewhat jaded, ie - no one's listening anymore, the emperor's new clothes, and now music for prophet. either way though, if klute comes half strength in this it will still eclipse 90% of the crap out there right now.

Working with Dom and Roland is the operative phrase here I think. Getting the omgomgomg feeling.

Klute's always been a different kind of cat. His Commercial Suicide record label says it exactly the way he is. He refuses to treat this music like product and his track names suggest that he's discontent with a world that rewards stepping on people to make your way up. I don't think it's dnb he's lashing out at.

This is entirely subjective and I should probably keep it to myself but, I think dnb is the one thing in his life he feels he can use to communicate the hope for a reconciled world to his peers.

It's hard to do that without identifying the problems that exist in this world. Sometimes the poeple with the most positive influence identify more problems than anyone else. It's a nasty little side-effect of hope.
